If you believ...There in lies the question of Faith. If you believe that God created the heavens and the Earth and every living thing upon the earth, then your learings began with the 1st book of the bible. A book written thousands of years ago, translated thousands of times from its orginal text. If you are Christian you are taught that Jesus is the son of God, conceived by immaculate conception. Yet, there is no proof, it is based upon the same translations of the same book, and requires faith to believe. The same book teaches you that if you believe in God that you will not perish, but have eternal life, again requiring faith. Yet, if you are a Jew, they believe in the messiah, yet do not believe that he is/was Jesus. Who is to say which is correct? I believe that is up to the faithful, and which you choose to place your faith in. Yes, there are many other religions, but this still gives you the point of our conversation. Jesus, is not God, God is God, yet we worship both, even though we have been instructed that God is a jealous God, who is also a forgiving God. We often pray in Jesus' name, but we often pray also to Jesus. My point I guess, is it still boils down to faith. It also, cannot be left from our teachings, because the teachings, of said faith, have sculpted our history, along with the teachings of the Jewish faith, Muslim, and various other belief systems. So I Guess I'm saying, teach it all because with out those teachings our history is basically a lie. Choose your faith, in the higher power based upon what you are comfortable with. At the same time, don't be upset if those who do have the faith, choose to share it with others, as it is their way of sharing what they know as love. I say it often God is Love. But, we often hurt those who we feel the strongest connection, because we project our beliefs on them. Regardless of how someone believes, true love will show you the way.
